We had a very sunny day so the huge plaza was a bit tired but it was very interesting, to know and imagine all the stories that happened is magnificent. You can enter and there is a small museum and a viewpoint in the upper...More

The view from the top is all encompassing, so there's that. Once on top, you must wait for the elevator to return and the exhibits were blocked off, so that was disappointing. Cuba has much to offer but its museums are not one of them.

Probably the most impressive structure in the Revolution Plaza area, the Jose' Marti Monument stands tall and reminds me of Jose' Marti Park in Ybor City, Tampa, Florida, which is the only piece of land the U.S. Gov't. has ever ceded to a foreign country...More

Our tour took us there telling us that over a million people gather there to see the political speeches of Cuba. The area isn't much bigger than a high school stadium and the grounds are uneven and you have to watch where you walk.

This is a beautiful monument in Revolution Square to honor Jose Marti, a poet and writer. You cannot go inside the monument but it is nice for photos.

What you would really enjoy is the elevator ride to the top of the monument where you get a 360 degree view of Havana. Docents are available. It may have cost 3 - 5 CUCs. It is definitely worth the investment. The views are... More

When we went, we flew JetBlue. They made it so easy. Filled out forms with JetBlue online and picked up visas when we landed in Ft. Lauderdale.
