You can see this monument from Revolution Square along with numerous other buildings paying tribute to many of Cuba's leaders. The square is large and Castro over time gave numerous speeches to millions of Cuban's over the years.

The building is very well maintained. Very interesting information in the museum and an amazing view of the city from the top!

I found this tall monument in Revolutionary Square quite intimidating. It almost looked like it could be standing in North Korea! We couldn't get up to it as they were preparing for an event the next day, and there was a big military presence.

Small museum inside. Observation deck was closed. What you see if you turn around from viewing Che representation.

No only impressive of Havana it was also a real kick to see the Plaza of the Revolution (really nothing more than a really big parking lot- like four Walmart parking lots combined) from such a vantage point. Interesting monument with big statuary but the real kick was afterwards- go to the reviewing stand where Fidel and Raul sit- and... More

Went here but unfortunately we couldn't go in building since they were doing rehearsals for a party the next day to celebrate, but other then that the square is decent.

There is a small fee (7cuc) to see the museum and to go to the observation deck but well worth it. Costs one cuc just to go up the steps outside! 360 views of Havana and great photos in the museum.

The monument is ok, the plaza empty, just concrete but accross from the Revolutionary square, a venue for music and gatherings. The images of revolutionaries on the wall, Che, and Castro. All the tour buses are here and all the tour guides, not a big deal but it is for them. They are stuck in the 50's and the Revolution,... More

Everywhere we went throughout Cuba, there was a bust or a monument to Jose Marti, but this was the largest by far. And it's located on Plaza de la Revolucion, so you can't miss it. Impressive!

A tall monument on a hill, at the Plaza de la Revolucion. If you are on a tour, there's no doubt you will stop there. It's definitely worth a look bust best of all you'll see many old cars with tourists as well.
