Our guide, Michael, spoke good English and was a great guide to Havana, listening carefully to what the family's interests were and directing us accordingly with the trip ending in a visit to a stunning Art Deco house that we never would have found, let alone entered without him.

We wanted to take a car tour and saw this company listed in Lonely Planet. We tried calling the number many times but no answer. We walked to the address which is located at Casa 1932. A friendly man helped us book the mob tour. $120 for 3 people and 2 hours. He also arranged us to be picked up at our accommodation, which was nice of him.
The car was on time and it was gorgeous! A bright blue convertible. Our guide was fun and outgoing. First we went downtown and walked through the lobby of a hotel that the mob stayed at. We checked out a couple old-time pictures which were interesting. Then we walked a block to a really cool antique shop with all sorts of fun things. We enjoyed this stop because we would not have found it otherwise.
Our final stop was at Hotel Nacional De Cuba. Again, we walked through the lobby and looked at some pictures. We also walked through a room that housed the last casino in Cuba. Then we were taken to a bar inside that was also a mini-museum. There were names and pictures of the many famous people who had visited the hotel. We each got a mojito (included in the tour), but unfortunately mine was terribly sour. Afterwards the driver dropped us off downtown.
That was the end of the tour. It was 1 hour 45 minutes for $120. Our guide was great fun and the car was beautiful. The tour itself was a letdown. I wish there had been more information and one more stop. Unfortunately $120 is not worth it. Go downtown and hire the car of your choice for $30/hour. Mojitos aren't included, but they will point out all the sights to you.

As for many things in Cuba, we fully relied upon Lonely Planet book for recommendation. However, in this particular instance, Havana Super Tour was a total disappointment.
First, via email booking they lied to us that only the convertible tour is available (at twice the normal cost). Upon arrival we realised this was not true.
Second, we were driven to only two locations - Christ statue and the National Hotel. We only spent 20 mins of two hours in the car, rest were spent waiting for the driver and in the hotel air conditioning.
Lastly, we learned about the Mafia and how it influenced the city but got no introduction to the revolution, history, Cuban people, society etc which we were anticipating in accordance to LP recommendation.
Our many other free city tours in Europe have been far superior to the 120 CUCs we paid Mikael in Havana.

The Mob Tour offered by Havana Super Tour, has earned an international prestige and is a must for those interested in the theme of the Mafia in Havana. In 2 hours there is a tour of the different sites that in the past were operated by this criminal organization (in addition to other sites of interest for this topic).
Unfortunately you have made several errors in your comment that guide us to determine what is malicious, they are:
1-The Cristo de la Habana is not included in the tour of our tour, which shows that you were not a client of Havana Super Tour.
2-Never wait for any customer, the time you refer in the national hotel that waited for the car is false. The time you want to be in each site is decided by our customers, always adjusting to 2 hours of our tour.
3-The cars are always waiting for the customers in each site that is visited, not the customers by the car.
4-The focus of the tour is History, our clients can learn about the criminal ties of this organization that operated in Havana at that time with the permission of the dictator Fulgencio Batista and how the people of Cuba in 1959 put an end to these practices of corruption and death, destroying those casinos, whose historical testimony can be appreciated through photographs of the time, another reason in which you have made a serious mistake because this explanation and more details is given to all our visitors, which does not matches what you express.
5-All the offers that have been made for 6 months in our attraction are made with convertible cars, which are the ones that offer greater comfort and attractiveness, having a great acceptance by our clients who have left the testimonials in this website.
We regret that you have written this comment, however, we invite you to come and truly enjoy our service and draw real conclusions. Our team will continue to provide an excellent service as is tradition.

We had such a great time discovering Havana and most especially its connections with the mafia and Art Deco. Maikel was truly the perfect guide (and pretty face for the mafia organization as we know how they work) we learned and laughed a lot! Also the pink convertible car was the best way to wander around town, and the tour was quite complementary to our own walking discovery of the city. We highly recommend it !!!!

More stars please! This 8 hour tour of Havana old and new, but especially old is a true must do. A complete city tour, with lunch and several stops is a pure delight no matter what your politics are.

With a great tour of the non-walkable parts of Havana, in a classic car, it was a memorable start to Cuba. I would suggest a convertible if possible as we went in one later in the trip and were able to see a lot more from the car. The complimentary Mojito at the end of the tour was the best one we had during our time in Havana.

Hello thank you for sharing you experience. We offer both option, convertibles and car with roof; convertibles are more expensive and the other is the economic version. It would be a pleasure to have you in the future in one of the convertible in a different type of tour, so you can have the full experience.

very recomended. If you want to do the havana tour but a bit off the beaten track you have to go with Mikel
we loved every minute of it.

If you are looking for an experience to learn about the history of Havana while having a great time - this is it!! They know their stuff. They know where to take you & if there is somewhere specific you want to go including trying a great MOJITO just ask and they will do it. This is not the kind of tour that they are just doing it to do it. They are doing it cause they have pleasure in doing it. In my opinion those are the BEST!

For the mobster tour, don’t bother with paying the extra for the convertible car, you don’t spend enough time in the car to take full advantage of it!
In saying that, this tour is awesome! I had no idea that Cuba was such a hot spot for US mob bosses such as Al Capone and Meyer Lansky.
The tour took us into an old memorabilia museum that showed many of the big players from the States in various casinos around Havana. Then we visited the Hotel Sevilla which hosted many a big meeting for the respective mob bosses. The National Hotel was stop #3 and here is where you get to try the Mobster mojito as part of the tour.
The final stop is Meyer Lansky’s hotel, The Riviera. He built it with his money and it too hosted a casino in years gone past.
After leaving the Riviera, we were taken to the Revolution Square to see the many super cars there and from there, we were dropped off anywhere in the city.
The tour cost $35cuc and was totally worth it!

What a fun tour! Michael is an excellent guide and the 1949 Pontiac is a super cool way to get around all the sites the mafia were associated with from the 20’s through 1959 Havana. An interesting slice of history run by people who are truly enthusiastic about it. It includes a stop for a ‘Mafia Mohito’ at the famous and beautiful Nacional hotel. Really worth 2 hours of your time.

Hola Karina el precio es 35 por persona, con minimo para dos personas, el tour es en un auto de epoca, dura tres horas y se camina una vez que se llega a cada destino. En grupos de mas de 4 personas se hace un descuento. Saludos.
