Casa de Las Americas is interesting architecturally with its tower capped by clocks and a light. Always interesting art and a friendly bookstore.

In this big cultural institution you will find temporary art exhibitions by Central and Southamerican artists, and a cosy bookshop selling everything about the Cuban revolution, postcards, dvds, cds and especially books from the Casa's own annual literary prizes (literature, theatre, essays etc.)
