This place is about 15 to 20 min walk from the cruise port. Some merchants will accept Euros. I went here for Cuban art work. Some beggers walk around here asking for money or anything you can give them, so beware. Merchants can be pushy...More

As part of our private tour and passengers from the Pearl Seas Cruise Line, we asked our driver, Manual to drop us off in front of the "Artist Market," or Mercado Artesanal. This huge warehouse, sitting on the docks of Havana bay, is home to...More

This market used to be outside at a square near by, now it’s in some kind of building all pressed together. Hundreds of vendors fight to get your money and ALSO they get angry at you if you don’t buy anything from them. Surprisingly prices...More

A huge indoor artisan market, located within walking distance of the port. Stall after stall, with many of the same standard souvenirs, but also one of a kind purchases if you persevere. One end of the market is art, including some original pieces. Vendors know...More

You are able to experience the vast majority of artisanal cuban items. While there are a lot of vendors with shirts, etc, I recommend going through the kiosks anyways. You will find some very interesting ones. The one I precisely was happy to see was...More

This is quantity and crowds and while there are paintings to be had, along with fans, carvings and all sorts of other items for souvenirs i think the prices are high and it's very touristy And crowded. And loud.

Large open 'warehouse like' space with many 'shops' with many artisans and a great selection of arts & crafts. Good prices-better than Calle Obispo, the pedestrian street in central Habana. Also has a lot of original art by local painters at each end of the...More

Previously, this was an old storage warehouse. A picturesque old train is outside and from the outside it is difficult to guess that inside is a huge market. The market consists of maybe 500 little booths all selling souvenirs (purses, jewelry, woodwork, tshirts, art, ceramic,...More

This is a gigantic market. Seldom will you see as much original art in one location. Yes there are a large variety of stalls, but if you are looking to buy t-shirts and other souvenirs this is the place to stop.
