I visited the Brujas kiosk in the Artisan's Market in Havana. Warm, friendly owner helped us select our soaps...and they are wonderful. So glad that "The Profit" on CNBC Nov. 7, 2016 included this woman's enterprise in his show. Don't miss it if you go to Havana! I wish I had bought more soap!!!…

I visited the D Brujas shop in the Artisans' Market in Havana in December 2016 after seeing their business featured on CNBC's show The Profit a few weeks earlier. I'm so glad I was able to find the shop! My boyfriend and I were warmly greeted by one of the women that was featured on the show. She helped us pick out the perfect soaps (they all smelled amazing!), and talked to us for a while about her experience building the business, and being on The Profit (her English was excellent, which helped with the conversation). As highlighted on The Profit, the women that run this shop have to be very creative in how they make their soaps due to many factors, including lack of access to proper supplies and machinery. That hasn't stopped them from making an incredible product though, and a warm and welcoming shop. Their will, hard work, and devotion to their business is incredible and inspiring. I will definitely be returning if I return to Havana, and recommend all to go!* *If going - when you enter the market (from either entrance), make a right and head toward the end. The D Brujas shop is one of the last shops on the right side! Happy shopping!!…
