This museum is splendid. Depending on how you look at it it could also be a refined family home, an art gallery, a social club headquarters or more...very eclectic to say the least both in its architectonic style and also in its functionality. Full of tourists and locals alike, it is a great place to learn more about history and... More

Art Gallery, Historical and Anthropological Museum that we visited and appreciated. All displays are in spanish but we managed to get the gist of what was being described. A nice place to retreat from busting Santiago and take a look at a wider perspective, laid out much as you would expect a museum and a reasonable price to enter, I... More

certainly worth a visit. The art gallery upstairs in nothing special, but the ground floor is full of interest historically and gives a flavour of the whole of cuban history rather than just the revolution. Well set out.

I was very surprised by the art and artifacts in this museum. After backpacking for two months in Cuba this was in the top 5.

The museum has high railings and gate fronting it and there is a small admission charge. It is easily accessible from the Parque Cespedes, only about 200m walk. It is mostly comprised of sketches and photographs of what was involved in rum processing and production. And of course, as would be expected, it has a big concentration on the role... More

This is a place that our tour guide said was changing rapidly more things being added weekly. The museum has a mix of things inside worth a visit note not like English museums it is sparse but non the less how the artists view people is interesting

At least this Bacardi doesn't have to go by the name of white rum like the rest of Cuba's Bacardi does. Certainly worth a visit so many interesting things to see

Mmmmm not our cup of tea really. Not what we expected. It's a at gallery now with some occasional reference to the Bacardi family. Beautiful building but tick it s done. However if you are an art gallery fanatic then sure you will love it. We aren't so not a great spot for us and you have to pay to... More

This museum was a pleasant surprise. I knew that there would be a lot of the family history, but it also has a lot of history of Cuba and the Santiago region. There's a very nice art collection upstairs, and an Egyptian mummy (really!) downstairs.
