This was our second visit to Saturno as a part of the Jeep Excursion. If we were to ever go again, we would skip the jeep tour, and take a taxi to Saturno and go during a time that is not busy.. I believe the cave typically gets busier after 2 pm. You must be agile to get to the... More

We went to the cave as part of the jeep safari trip. It was a Saturday and absolutely packed with local kids. You couldn't get near the steps therefore making it difficult to get in and out of the pool. Definitely NOT for the feint hearted or less mobile as a long way down by steps

Nice place close to Varadero, crystal clear water inside the cave where you can dive in. Make sure you go ready with your bathing suit and water or beach shoes so you can step on the rocks.

Awesome cool cave, but I do not know why it's promoted as a swimming area. There are swallows nesting in the cave so the thought of swimming in the "refreshing" (chilly!) water among the other tourists with bird poop somewhat grossed me out, however the water was exceptionally clear! As a bird watcher, there were not just swallows in the... More

The cave is well worth seeing, but the long flight of stairs down and back up again is a constant procession of tourists in both directions

Stopped off here on a trip from our hotel in varadero! Great experience even though the water is a bit cold when you get in..it soon warms up! Take a towel and some sort of footwear down with you for the walk back. Some parts of it are really deep (22m) so not for the weaker swimmer.

Took a quick taxi from our hotel to swim in the cave. The kids loved it, the water was cool and the steps are easy to navigate just go slow. This was the highlight of our trip, we had rough experience at our resort so everyone was happy to get away from the resort and enjoy an afternoon cool swim.

Interesting place to swim! A natural cave in the limestone fed by underwater spring. Lots of people there, but it was free!

This cave is an impressive sight, situated down a rugged flight of steps. The water is cool and it is easier to swim in the deep part of the cave.
