I reviewed it in the fall of 2016 and highly recommended it. But in May 2017 it is 'closed for repairs', just FYI You can still walk around outside this beautiful historic building, right on the beach in Veradero

Museum is closing in Feb 2017 and the building is being demolished as it is in bad condition. Many of the exhibits are still there and the lady caretaker will show you around for a couple of Peseo.

The museum is to be demolished in July 2017. Our guide was excellent and took a great deal of pride in showing us what is left of the exhibits. It is a shame the building is to be demolished.

Very nice older building but they have let it slip a lot in the last few years. The displays are in very poor condition.
