Myself and two girlfriends booked a day trip to Havana. We were met at our hotel promptly at 8am by Raul and Yoslan. Yoslan was the owner and driver of the classic '55 Plymouth that was our ride for the day. The car was in great shape and comfortable. It had A/C but we were more than happy just have the windows down a bit. The drive from Varadero to Havana is about two hours but there is a stop along the way to stretch your legs.
Raul was our guide and did an amazing job teaching us all about the area and taking us to all the highlights in the city. There is so much to take in I could see spending a couple of days there especially if you're a history buff. If you're into photography there are so many cool buildings and classic cars to get shots of.
There is a lot of walking to be sure to wear comfy shoes. Also bring cash, small bills are probably best, if you plan on making purchases and for tipping in the spots you stop.
The restaurant we stopped at for lunch was delicious. I'm still craving the beans we had there.
I would book with Gohabana again without hesitation. It was a great day!

Our Taxi Driver Yoslan drove us in his ‘55 Plymouth immaculate condition and Raul Michel Gonzales Gonzales :) our tour guide was amazing. So informative and both of them made it so clear that they loved what they do! We walked through Old, Centre and New Havana and Raul showed and explained everything. We stopped at is best described as a Speak Easy restaurant for lunch which he promised to be better than any meal at our hotel and he was right!
I believe the restaurant name El Canonazo it was right beside the massive statue of Jesus. Everything was delicious! So much history I wish I had video recorded it just to remember it all. I would definitely go back to try out a few more restaurants. So cool to go to the bar that Hemingway spent 30 year visiting on a regular.
I would highly recommend these two, drive and guide for a day tour to Havana. I really felt like I had a true Cuba experience.

I booked two tours withGo Havana. They call you at your hotel the day after you arrive to confirm and pick you up on time. The price is very reasonable. Raul was our guide for the Havana tour in a '50's car. The car was fun, complete with a/c. Rahul was very good with giving us the tour in great English and adapting to our desires.
Our second tour was to Matanzas. Our guide did not know enough English to conduct the tour, however, he and the driver were very good at getting us to all the places we wanted to see. We had a laundry list of places people had suggested and we were able to see them all. The pharmaceutical museum is an absolute must, even if you have no interest at all. It is perhaps one of the 7 wonders of the world!. Even with the limited English, this trip was great value as they charge very fair rates and work with you.
I highly recommend this company.

We wanted to visit Havana but did not want to be part of a large group of tourists having to stop at several hotels to pick people up. We also did not want to sit on a bus and listen to the tour guide repeat the same dialogue in three different languages to accommodate everyone. We are a family of four, one of whom is elderly and has difficulty walking. So we opted to book a private tour with GoHabana. We told them we needed a larger vehicle for easier access and more room. They sent a mini van to pick us up and it was just perfect. Raul our tour guide was excellent!! He had very good knowledge of Havana and it's history and spoke great English. He was very friendly and helpful. Our driver Ernesto was also very professional. We told them all the sights we wanted to see and they tailored the tour specifically for us. The cost of the tour was very reasonable and only cost a few $$ more than what it would have cost us to go with a group. I would definitely recommend GoHabana and would absolutely use them again.

Reserved a car for our first anniversary in Varadero via the internet....easy booking, they also made lunch reservations at the #1 restaurant in Varadero and it was great! I can't thank these guys enough for all they have done and their great service...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We went on Habana tour with gohabana on 19th Dec 2014 from Varadore. We booked the tour online before we went to Varadore. The whole day tour to Habana was amazing and memorable. Habana is a beautiful city every one must see. The Tour guide Raul Michel, is professional and an gentlemen, speaks prefect English and have through knowledge of Cuba. The car he brought for us was 1950’s ford mercury perfectly restored. We had lots of fun and will do it again when we are in Cuba next.

We were looking for a car for our wedding and our wedding photos and I stumbled across a guys name and contact on trip advisor (Kaidel) I let him know I was looking for a beutiful convertible for the wedding and they pointed me to Gohabana Travels. When we arrived in Varadero, Gohabana showed up at our resort just to reassure us the car would be there for the wedding. The day of the wedding we were surprised when the blue and white 1959 Olds Super 88 showed up and a Gohabana rep with a beutiful wedding gift from the company. 2 wine glasses with our names etched in them. Awesome, Professional, Reliable, what else can I say but Thank You for making our wedding day special!!

We went on a day trip to Havana in a 1950’s Ford on Saturday 10th August 2019, with Raul. He was extremely knowledgable and explained all the history of Cuba in amazing detail, we absolutely loved it!, took loads of pictures and had a delicious lunch. The day would not have been so good without this company! We are back home in Scotland now, with amazing memories from our day trip.

I spent 8 days in Havana with a bunch of ladies from SoFe travel. SoFe booked the tour guides and worked out the accommodations... I have to say, my tour guides from Gohabana Travels made the experience the best! The guides and our drivers were well informed about Cuban history and culture, and made sure we had a pleasant, safe experience. Thank you Raul Gonzalez for showing us around the island and providing us with a great memory. I highly recommend Gohabana Travel.

My boyfriend and I took a tour of Havana with our amazing tour guide Raul. It was personal, and full of amazing information. We were picked up at our resort in veradero in a classic Chevy, he was right on time and was able to answer all of our questions easily and with plenty of information. The walking tour was great because it was just the two of us and our guide. We felt safe the whole time and got to see some of the most famous and important landmarks with an added touch of excitement. The restaurant in Havana was some of the best food we had the whole trip and I would reccomend this tour to anyone. It was affordable, safe, and most of all it was a super fun experience! Thank you to Raul for providing us with such a good time and such good information! Would come back in a heart beat. Thanks!!
