We made a quick stop to see this huge cactus and were glad we did. I shopt walk among flowers, humming birds and butterflies and you are there. It's the only living thing in Cuba that was there when Christopher Columbus arrived over 500 years...More

Dropped in here on our Varadero tour and were informed that the tree was over 2000 years old. Nothing great to look at but hey....it’s old!

Tricky to get there by car, but if you follow the signs it's easy. Never have seen such massive cactus. Over 500 years old. Hurricanes have hardly scathed it.

Well, it's a large, old cactus tree on an obscure path from an isolated turn around. Not sure what the big draw is unless you've never seen an old tree before. A couple of our party were fascinated with it.

This spiny tree-like local icon is around 500 years old and worth a short visit. We visited from the beach of the Ocean Varadero El Patriarca resort.

Stopped by this site while we were out on a scooter. For 2 pesos you walk a short path but do get to see an amazing very old cactus tree. Worth the visit.

Interesting to see this cactus that has been there for hundreds of years and to know that it still produces flowers!!! Had to pay 2 POC per person to take two steps to see a giant plant! But it was a sight to see!

To get to this place, it requires some walking, It only has 1 cactus as shown in the picture, nothing more. I don't think it worths 2 CUC admission, honestly, there is nothing there.

We were staying at a nearby hotel and came to check out this living monument. We were very impressed at its majesty. Unfortunately it clearly shows signs of human stupidity as some insensitive fools have, in the past, have carved their names or initials into...More

... but really not worth going out of your way for. But, if you are doing the Ecological Reserve walk, you will see it on that.
