Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very rocky. Difficult to get in and out of the water. Very crowded, very early. Difficult to find any shady spot after 10 a.m.

Dirty, uncomfortable chairs, cigarette butts on beach, dirty beach. Good below average for beach food. The charge/fee for chairs and umbrellas vary, definitely would not recommend! Many other amazing beaches!!!

One of the best beaches for snorkeling! and it has some trees and shadow areas on the beach so you can hide when it is too hot! Nice little cafe on the beach!

Small locals beach with lots going on. Wedding taking place, kids playing, aqua park area for kids, picnicking, jet skis etc.
Good parking lot, small snack bar.
Natural beach setting with no houses around.
Beach was nice with some palapas. Rocks/coral near shore so would suggest water shoes if hanging out in the water.
Snorkeling was ok despite the lack of good coral.

A small beach we were told used more by locals than tourists. Car park is free. You can rent chairs cheaply. Food is available and there is a bathroom although not the greatest but it’s there.
Beautiful water, clear and refreshing not too warm and not too cold.
Recommended wearing water shoes as there are some rocks and shells .

Yet another stunning beach on the beautiful island of Curacao. This beach is very close to Cas Abao and Porto Marie. In fact you can visit all three in the same day! The beach is public so no admission charge. There are beds to rent as well as some umbrellas and palapqs. The snack bar at the back of the beach does a decent selection of food. We visited on a Tuesday and the beach was really quite with lots of space and shade available. We loved its rustic charm and, of course, the powder white sand and beatific crystal clear turquoise water. The cliffs either side provide an impressive backdrop and there’s plenty of wildlife with gekkos, trumpet fish in the shallows and the resident pelican diving between swimmers to catch its prey.

This was our favourite beach on the island. If you're staying at Coral Estate, it's very close though you'll still need a car to get there. It's a free public beach. There are beach loungers available to rent, and umbrellas as well. There are several palapas (no charge for using the palapas). Otherwise there aren't a lot of options for shade, but on the side of the beach the dive shop is on, there are some trees for some additional shade options if you don't get a palapa or umbrella. Washrooms are paid (I believe it was 50 NAF cents). Didn't use them so not sure what state they're in. There is a snack bar, can't comment on the food as we didn't try it. Great beach to catch the sunset. There are better spots on the island for snorkelling, but still well worth it to go for a snorkel here.

This was such a great find and it wasn’t hard to snag a shady space to spend the day. Great for swimming, snorkeling or simply listening to crashing waves.

This beach is right next door to the Coral Estate Lux Resort, I'm surprised it's not advertised together more often. Both location needs a car to get to. The snorkel is excellent, especially around the western wall. It is so beautiful, it looks like an aquarium with the corals and sea fans growing on the wall. Small schools of fish were hanging out there when I went, it was magical and mesmerizing. The beach is accomodating with chairs and umbrellas. Many people brought a cooler with them. The beach is accomodating with chairs and umbrellas and was not crowded.
