More
The Curacao Maritime Museum takes its visitors on a discovery tour of more then 500 years maritime history of Curacao. The story-line is illustrated through a permanent exhibition consisting of displays with authentic nautical charts, ship models and navigation equipment combined with audiovisual techniques...an attraction not to be missed. As well as the exhibition, the museum also offers a number of interesting tours. Besides a tour of the museum, a demonstration of the mini refinery, which is set up in a separate exhibition hall of the museum, can also be attended. In addition, a tour through the harbour can be made.

A great place to get an overview of Curacao maritime history. The museum admission is US$6.50 for adults, US$3.25 for children 6-11 years old, and free for children less than 6 years old. We took the time and watched the film (10-15 minutes), which was...More

Each of the three floors is dedicated to a period of time from present to past. Lots of artifacts and information. Incredible hand-made scale ship models. Start at the third floor and work your way down, the AC struggles.

Has a good collection of maritime artifacts and especially models of ships that were used in the past. Being an island curacao has seen its share of ships , boats and various naval gadgets

This museum next to the Floating Market depicts the maritime history of the area. The displays are well organized and it's a very worthwhile place to visit.

The Curacao Maritime Museum is a very interesting museum in a very well restored building in Punda. It is a great place to learn about the arrival of the first Europeans to Curacao and the subsequent naval battles that took place.

Museum is well appointed with everything maritime from Curaçao history. They have a very nice restaurant and just the view from the balcony into the city of Willemstad is worth the visit.
