Shopping in Otrobanda starts at the Renaisance hotel where you can park for free! It's just a 10 min walk to Otrobanda and if you cross the Emmabridge 5 mins to Punda. Alls shops are for tourists. In otrabanda a bit cheaper

Friendly and kind citizens. Street was clean and safe. A bit expensive but worth the buy. Would recommend to those who love to shop in a safe environment

"The Other Side" - across the pontoon bridge from Punda, great view of Handelskaade, more interesting architecture and colorful buildings, numerous restaurants to try and shops to browse. We found it was easier parking the car here than in Punda.

There have better restaurants and with better prices than Punda's. Also, you can go to casinos and shopping.

I had my hotel in this area, and was walking there every evening to get diner. It was safe enough, and during the afternoon, you can also spot some old buildings from the Dutch times.

This zone of Willemstad is nice to walk around and visit the small shops on it. If your doing this during the day I strongly recommend a sun umbrella.

We visited Willemstad in March of 2018 on a beautiful blue sky day. After a two-hour bus tour, we did a walking tour of Otrabanda and Punda (the "other other side"). A great place for walking - flat and lots of places to stop and...More
