Sari Sari Falls

Amazing waterfall but go with a local. I recommend Wahil in the village of La Plaine. Cool ital dude. The hike gets really intense if it rains, so plan accordingly.

Highly recommend these falls, they are very dramatic and given their remote location and bit more perilous hiking, a more private and rewarding experience. We hiked this on a “cruise ship day” in Dominica in Spring 2015 when the attractions on the island tend to get flooded, but only saw 3-4 hikers coming in when we were trekking out. The... More

We were directed here by the folks at Jungle Bay who said we didn't necessarily need a guide but we happened upon a guy who offered to guide us - and for $40 US, I'm glad we took him up on it. Although it's fairly well-marked, there was one part that was quite steep through thick brush that we would... More

This is a very short and easy hike! Sari Sari is a huge waterfall and its a breathtaking view! If freezing water does not bother you, you can go ahead and swim under it. I was not able to because of how freezing it was. I took a tour with Just Go Dominica which was absolutely excellent! Nahgie is the... More

Beautiful waterfall in rain forest of Dominica...very romantic place. Short, but little bit demanding hike to forest. Caribbean Feng Shui definitely...!! Highly recommended!!

To get there requires a guide, a stout pair of walking shoes and a 40 minute trek through steep tracks in thick forest/jungle with three river crossings. Is it worth it? Yes! A dip in one of the many pools is especially welcome before the trudge back.

A very short hike (45 minutes) will get you to the base of a very large waterfall where you can swim in the pool. The hike involves two river crossings and a hike up the river. The last bit, where the trail ends, is not that obvious. Basically, just walk in the river, climb over the rocks and boulders, and... More

Brilliant experience and bathing in the pool with the thundering falling water is an incredible experience. The rock are very slippery so be careful.

This trail is somewhat steep and there are two river crossings, the first is harder then the second, but the falls at the end are gorgeous. Trail is narrow in places and there's some scrambling over large rocks. You will need good shoes for the hike. Some of the rocks are slick. You can swim at the pool near the... More
