A 10 minute drive from Trafalgar Falls is Ti Kwen Glo Cho. (Warning: Do not use any GPS to get here, get directions or you will get badly lost like we did) The place is spread out with two different temperature pools and a mud bath. The thermal pool I found just too hot to stay more than a few minutes. Near it is a mud pool where tear some mud off the side to rub on your skin. It can be washed off from any of the natural showers or from the old fashion metal bathtub that has a warm water spout pouring over you. The lower pool is comfortably warm as they mix up the heated underground waters with waters from the mountain creek.…

Our Air BNB hostess (Sara at D’Auchamps Firefly Cottage (also fabulous BTW)) recommended this of all the pools. It was so beautiful by moonlight - primary pool is pretty hot but the very cold mini waterfall will cool you off! Excellent experience!

It’s a bit of a hike to get to as the bus doesn’t drop you off at the door (public mini bus is 3.50 EC but some may say 5EC being a tourist coming from Roseau) but any local will help you. Just keep walking up the road and eventually you’ll see it on your right. It’s $10US to enter but there isn’t a time limit. You can go between the different baths (hot, warm, mud) with cold springs too cool off in. At the top there is a pen with turtles they age saved, along with chickens and an animal I can’t remember what it’s called. I quite enjoyed it and was perfect for the day after the boiling lake hike.
