Steep climb up and around the lake, but the view is awesome. It's a 30 min walk from the laudat junction, and another 50 mins to walk around the lake.

We drove here in a hire car on a day trip. The road was in good condition and there is plenty of parking. We walked the lake circuit which WA San excellent walk. It is not flat and essentially an undulating caldera walk, steep at...More

Freshwater lake is OK but relatively ordinary. You can though take short drive from lake to start of trail to Beori Lake. It's a fairly challenging path, especially as we did it after a night of rain so very slippery in places. Took about an...More

This is a beautiful spot to cool off. It's much cooler up by the lake. Breathtaking views, beautiful hikes, kayaking and bar open during peak times

It is a beautiful lake but there are other areas in Dominica that are more stunning and more unique to a rainforest island. You can drive right to the edge of the lake which would make it a nice starting point for a hike around...More

We went on this hike today, April 2, and it was not what we expected! The path around the lake is a moderate level hike, we expected it to be a nice walk around the edge of the lake but you end up climbing 3...More

Nice views but nothing better than other spots on the island. The drive up has nice scenery and views as well. The lake was freezing! But we went in anyway. Be sure to bring a towel!

This is a pretty walk. I rated this average, but it has nothing at all to do with the lake or the path around it! Rather, it has to do with the bizarre behaviour of the park staff. My sister and I visited the Island...More
