In my experience it is the best place to visit in DomRep. We took an excursion, out guide was a 19 years old guy who told us a lot about traditional cooking, people etc. The waterfall is magic. We swam there as well.

El Limon was the main object of my visit to Dominican Republic (I'm a waterfall fanatic), as well as winter sunshine and I was not disappointed! I booked with Viator on line for day trip from Punta Cana to Samana and El Limon. Guide Nata...More

I must say that this was a wonderful experience. The horses that my girlfriend and I rode were calm and well trained. The horses were very intelligent. And the trail to the waterfalls is so peaceful and tranquil. I only paid $30 usd for 2...More

This trip was well worth the visit. My personal experience left a lot to be desired, but I wouldn't steer someone else away because of it. We rode horses as far back as possible, then we walked to the falls. First of all the walk...More

The trip where you start the journey to the falls is nice and exciting. After I started the hike (I did not want to ride the horses) I begin to think. Here there are 100 - 150 horses carrying people to the waterfall and we...More

The Limon Waterfall is ok but I don't know if it is worth the hike after a rainy day! Try to avoid weekends since all the locals go there and it gets REALLY CROWDED and noisy!

It was amazing. The guide was the nicest human being I've ever met. I felt safe and had so much fun!

Frist off, this is a pretty lackluster waterfall. Its cool, but the mirky water, general stench, and the seemingly hundreds of people make it basically unbearable. Worse than this, the horses are bags of bones being whipped the entire way - mine even almost completely...More

They have horses at the beginning of the waterfall trail. It's a 1/2 mile hike up the hill & then roughly 250 steps down to the waterfall and lagoon. So it's up to you if you want to rent either a horse or a donkey or just... More

The horse ride was nice but each horse has a volunteer guide. You can tell the guide if you're a beginner or experienced horse rider. Just find a volunteer guide that can speak some English if you're not familiar with... More
