We visited the museum on November 13. It was very interesting, and the guide was helpful and knowledgeable. They sold high quality pieces in the gift shop.

Almost all the visits of the historical zone end up in this museum that is no more than a shop selling amber and semi precious stones. You can see the building from the outside that is more interesting ...

well displayed and informative,there is also a shop where you can purchase amber and Larimar,all this in a wonderful historical building (great staircase!)

We enjoed the tour through the amber museum. Brunildas explanations in our native language were very interesting. Definetly one of the highlights of Santo Domingo.
