We were on a full day city trip - but I would suggest if you go - just go separately to this site so you have time to wander around and see everything (half day) we had 25 mins

We took our daughter to the top of the mountain in this cable car and it was a fun experience. The only problem was when the power went out and the car jerked to a stop. We were fine, but one other woman was crying with fear.

A worthwhile trip as the views from the top are awesome. The gardens are also worth seeing as there is such a variety of plants.

We saw the cable car when we took a cab from our cruise this was a truly unexpected delight, of course had I done my homework on tripadvisor first I would have known about it... Bring a few dollars as there are vendors on top and a few guys taking some great pics...for tips. Worth it and can be done... More

Very good experience. Highly recommend. Yuo can see the whole city and the beach from the top of the mountain. Better to visit early morning to avoid big lines
