We debarked from the cruise, and instead of taking any Shore Excursions offered by the cruiseilne, we head out to the taxi stand. It is pretty organized, and we made our 20 minute ride to Isabel Del Torres. The cable car ride was really cool....More

We was about to hire a guide but they won’t go for $20 per person for two of us... asking some from $60 to $30 per person. So we went by ourselves without a guide. Thanks for the reviews here, we followed the red marks...More

The walk is good, the hills are steep and if it's raining watch out on the steps, they are very dangerous and slippy.

So we had gone up the mountain in the cable car in the past and had heard three was a trail up as well. So we went and paid a guide 800 pesos a person (three of us) to walk us up. I felt that...More

A trail leads through the gardens and rainforest at the top of the mountain. There is a good map showing the paths which are well signed and maintained. You can reach a small pond and a cave on the trails. It is easy walking but...More

This 2.0-3.5 hr hike one way should certainly be done with a guide. It starts near the base of the cable car. My wife and I are senior citizens but we do a lot of hiking. We brought our hiking shoes and walking poles just...More

Yes! You can buy a one way ticket down from the top, 200 pesos for tourists for a one way ticket. You'll want it after a hard hike.
