We debarked from the cruise, and instead of taking any Shore Excursions offered by the cruiseilne, we head out to the taxi stand. It is pretty organized, and we made our 20 minute ride to Isabel Del Torres. The cable car ride was really cool....More

A trail leads through the gardens and rainforest at the top of the mountain. There is a good map showing the paths which are well signed and maintained. You can reach a small pond and a cave on the trails. It is easy walking but...More

This 2.0-3.5 hr hike one way should certainly be done with a guide. It starts near the base of the cable car. My wife and I are senior citizens but we do a lot of hiking. We brought our hiking shoes and walking poles just...More
