This was the highlight of my trip. I lost a bunch of weight just to make sure I could do it. Our guide, Hamlet, was the best guide we could have asked for. Yes it's a long drive there and back but we learned a lot about the Dominican Republic from Hamlet. The training and the workers were phenomenal and... More

Took the opportunity while in Punta Cana to visit Monkeyland, we weren't sure how it was going to go as it was "the rainy day" during our visit. I was traveling with my wife and two kids (11 and 4). After a quick drive to the Runners meeting point we picked up three more passengers and headed to the mountains.... More

We really enjoyed our full-day excursion into the Dominican countryside. Our curiosity about life outside the resort (Bahia Principe Ambar) was satisfied by (guide) Miguel and (driver) Jeremiah. Delightfully friendly and entertaining, they introduced us to the people and activities of rural Punta Cana. They provided samples, demonstrations, history, and a delicious Dominican lunch. Recommended for the curious travellers of... More

We booked a VIP tour through our Transat rep at our resort. After weighing the options we narrowed our choices down to the VIP Safari Tour or the VIP Hispaniola tour. The only difference seemed to be that we would see everything on the Safari tour as well as the church at Hispaniola and the Archaeological museum, which both interested... More

My wife and I went on the Zipline, Monkeyland Excursion and it turned out to be the best value we could have hoped for. The zipline was a blast; the training was fun, funny, and, most importantly, effective and the actual course was outstanding. I had never ziplined before and by the time I had finished the fourth ride, I... More

This was a Fabulous excursion!! I was initially terrified, as this was the first time ziplining. Our driver and guide were great - Melvin (guide), and Rolando (driver). Melvin was quick and entertaining, making the 35-40 minute ride to the site very pleasant. Melvin shares information on the Dominican economics, and ensures all participating knows to appreciate everyone's efforts. At... More

We were driven to the mountains to see the squirrel monkeys. saw how cocoa is processed and how coffee beans are roasted. Also, how coconut oil is extracted.

We had the pleasure of going on a number tours with Bavaro Runners. Very educational and the guides were very knowledgeable and entertaining. Patrice was our guide on the Monkey Land tour. He was wonderful. On the VIP Tour Franklin was our guide and he too was excellent. Great tours, great guides and a great trip.

Maria's House, sugar cane, cigars, horse back riding and beautiful beach time were all included in the tour we took. Our guide was Mimi and he was fantastic. I would recommend this tour for anyone. Mimi was knowledgeable and very friendly. He seemed to show up just in time to help take a picture every time.
