Gorgeous beach, sand & swaying palm trees! True, sometimes there are seaweeds but the beach employees are always trying to clean it up. In October it’s the perfect temperature since it’s not too hot & has just the right amount of breeze.

Alot of hagglers, and sales men on beach. Waves weren’t big or anything but very beautiful. Very relaxing (especially under the palm umbrellas) when you weren’t being hit up for a sale. Drink service was good from our resort.

The beach is great when the seaweed has been removed by the resort. It is a long beach and great for walking

Beautiful, relaxing beach! Gentle sea, great temperature for swimming (not too cold that it’s a struggle to get in, but cool enough to be refreshing). There is a fruit juice bar, a crepe and normal drinks bar, on certain days there is a stall to...More

We stayed at the Reserve at the Paradisus Palma Resort. The Bavaro Beach was beautiful. Water was warm and blue! There was very little seaweed. We did see some down the beach but it was perfect where we were.

We stayed on this beach and it is so beautiful. The sand is so soft and the waves fairly gentle. We were not able to snorkel near where we stayed. It was too rough there unfortunately but the water was still warm and refreshing.

The water temperature is perfect. The sandy beaches amazing. The seaweed ... not so much. The area we visited had too much seaweed. We were able to find a few clear areas that we could enjoy the beautiful turquoise waters.

Beautiful beach with lots of chaises and "beds" for everyone. Beach is pristine. I saw the workers RAKING the beach, so it looked smooth and inviting. Who knew?!
