Stopped for 45 minutes during an excursion. Very beautiful but..........very strong waves and undertow. Also very risky to just walk around. Some very questionable individuals. Alot of trash left away from the water. Didn't see any cans anywhere.

We stopped for only about 30 minutes as part of our Extreme Adventures Dune buggy trip. The beach looked wonderful but the undertow from the waves was fairly strong. Our guide had warned us of this ahead of time but if we were not prepared...More

Beach was a little dirty but the people were so nice. We were offered fresh lobster and red snapper for lunch at an additional cost and it was absolutely delicious and prices were very fair. We will definitely visit there again.

Very nice beach to just relax and enjoy the ocean. The waves were awesome for swimming. Just be cautious of the people walking around with animals and asking to taking pictures with. We were told that they might have diseases.

We enjoyed fresh caught lobster and red snapper cooked by the locals. If you use their chairs, you will pay a fee, but worth it.

The beach is beautiful! The only downfall is the locals shoving animals on you then asking you to pay them for it.

Visited this beach while on an excursion. Most beautiful beach I have ever seen. Not a tourist beach it is for locals. Drove a buggy through mud and sand to get there. Stunning!

Very nice scenic beach. Vendors... not so much. Only walked the beach back & forth, worth seeing it but juanillo beach is at the top of my list.

We rented a car. The highway is absolutely perfect. There are a couple of toll booths each way of 100 pesos each. We used the phone's gps and took us there easy. Once you get to the beach, better park at the Macao Surf... More
