The mostly liked beach of locals as we could noticed. Macao Playa is an unique spot among all the wonderful beaches that you can go in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, about 15 miles away from the airport as a reference. You can see and agree that it is really a beautiful beach and surrounds. Beside the Caribbean Sea special color,... More

Beautiful beach but not very clean and I didn't feel very safe. Lots of vendors to sell you things. The motel beach was just as nice.

Great long curved sandy beach but the waves make it not for swimming unless your a very accomplished surfer. Dirty looking water (maybe due to the churning sands and current) but not the spot for a dip that you dreamt of. If you visit on a buggy tour you won't get enough time to enjoy it fully so maybe take... More

Hey, I sat under that palm tree! The finest sand that I have ever seen. Relaxing warm breeze. Non stop views.

We visited this beach as part of the Outback Safari tour. It was a pretty beach but I wish I'd just enjoyed the view and not swam in the ocean. The waves at this beach were quite large (at least the day we were there). It had been raining the night before however so that may have affected the experience.... More

I liked this beach better than Bavaro Beach, more low key, more locals, lets tourists, less crowded. The water is beautiful everywhere that you go, but I preferred this one over the other ones. There are a lot of people selling things, but they're not annoying, if you say no they walk away very quickly, no problem, i find it... More

Went here on a buggy tour and spent the entire time shooing away guys with lizards, monkeys and birds to take pictires with, kids selling hand-made leaf hats or begging for money or people selling jewelry or beer.

A very long beach with great waves for strong swimmers. There aren't very many facilitesd (Toilets, Cafes etc) but if you want a tan and a bit of Boogy Boarding then this is the place for you.

We stayed at the Principe Esmeralda and let me tell you it was a beautiful stretch of beach it was overpopulated unless you had the Esmeralda or another luxury brand but other than that the beach was beautiful as we walked both ways on the beach all the way to the grand Palladium complex and I would say that this...
