Kinda Interesting, place is a mess

Hilltop with fine views from the harbor's western promontory across the town's red-tiled roofs and church spires and over the Carenage.

This is an interesting site. I rather like that it is not a polished, sanitized tourist site. There are actually workshops and people working here. I do recommend reading a little about Grenada history before coming to this site as it is not well marked.

Somewhat historic, but nothing to fill you in on the history. Place is a mess. Decent views. Small price for entry fee isn't worth it. Pushy locals trying to offer tours tend to congregate here, so beware.

The employees were very friendly and answered all our questions. This is an old Fort and a bit run down but worth the trip up the hill and to look out over the bay. Not that expensive to get into.

Very little of interest in or on the fort itself but the views are amazing from the top. Recommend to drive up as close as you can then walk the rest though also a fairly easy walk from the carenage too

The views are amazing and the history fascinating. I recommend paying the local tour guide to walk with you and give you an additional perspective.

The fort was interesting BUT we had a man "attach" himself to us at the fort. He acted like he was working there as a "guide" and even after we left the fort continued to show us around even though we had not asked for...More

Other reviews about the lack of signs and the place being ruins are correct. However, the views from the top of Fort George are incredible. They allow you to see all of the city of St. George and a real lay-of-the-land. I would suggest this...More

We stopped by for some history. The fort is in pretty rough and in need of additional restoration to bring it back to its former glory. The views of the island were awesome!
