Funky and fun, souvenir market of local spices, textiles, and crafts off Grand Anse Beach with good selection. Fun interacting with the vendors; prices of the same items vary from stall to stall and it's ok to haggle.

A score of local vendors have their market-type stalls set out in the Craft Centre. A few actually make their own merchandise but many are simply retailing standard mass-market lines. Still it's good to support local commerce - these guys have to make a living!...More

It's three years since our previous visit. Not much has changed, many of the vendors are in the same sales booths. You can buy almost anything from t-shirts, fabric wraps, hand made jewelry and examples of all the local crafts. There is a handful of...More

We browsed in trendy shops and galleries that line Young Street, but instead opted to buy a brightly painted “Market Woman” souvenir from an equally colorful artisan in his workshop at the more authentic Grenada Craft Center, across from the yacht-filled lagoon.

Small and not packed with stuff, but worth a visit if only for the total enthusiasm of the staff for their island (same all over Grenada, that's why we love it so much) Well worth a visit (1 hour is enough)

This is a great free attraction and well worth a visit. The artists are amazing and great to converse with. Not the usual tourist that and easy to find on the dockside.

This is where I finally found all the little presents I wanted to bring back to my family - old and young alike. It is a wonderful place to wander through and take your time.

There is not a lot to buy but the spices the island is known for. Grenadians are overall very friendly but in the market bit pushy.

If you have time this is a really sweet market that is full of delightful little shops. We were never hassled and were able to browse in peace. Coffee was made specially for us and later the cocktails were delicious, all from different little bars.
