On a warm but damp day, we got off our cruise ship, walked a short distance to the right to find a water taxi at a jetty to take us across to Grand Anse Beach for $5 each return. The boat pulled right up to...More

Our hotel was on the beach so we went everyday. The water is a great temp with gentle waves, not a lot of seashells so going barefoot was no problem. The sand is the right consistency for sand castles.

So after about a year of dreaming and watching other people's YouTube videos I finally made it to Grenada. My first visit to Grand Anse Beach was great and I can't wait to visit again next year.

Grand Anse Beach is beautiful. You will have plenty to keep you busy as most of the dive shops are on this beach. Several locals will try to sell you things they have made or braid your hair, but they are not pushy like most...More

Long sweeping silver sand and the Caribbean Sea. But vast chunks of the beach are private which can mean no beds and rusty wire fences around private property at the back spoil it a bit. Lovely spot but not my favourite

When I got to the beach I had no problem. I was immediately approached by someone who was waiting to rent a chair which I gladly acknowledged. I felt relaxed, did a little swimming and took a few pictures. It was a nice experience as...More

This beach was amazing! We loved our day here. Its deffinatley calmer and nicer than pink gin. However, there are locals trying to sell you all sorts of things. I wish there relaxation areas free from locals selling you things

Yes!-take your snorkel gear! Grand anse does not have the best snorkeling in relation to other areas of Grenada, but the water is beautifully clear and aqua and it's fun to swim the length of the beach. In front of Savvy's... More
