All in all, a very nice beach. Lots of space and shade although it does seem to get quite crowded (not St. Anne's type crowded but crowded nonetheless). Food trucks are quite good... read more

this beach is fabulous. it's my favorite along the south coast of grande terre. it has the right balance of fun/activity and relaxation. not to mention the beach is excellent for swimming in and to lay at. the water is just gorgeous here with a beautiful view, and it's easy to fall into a little nap while enjoying the breeze... Super place for swimming and it has a restaurant right on the beach. parking, like every good beach in Guadeloupe, is tough.

This beach was perfect. Easy parking, beautiful water, calm seas, soft sand, with plenty of space to spread your towel. Seemed to be popular with tourists as well as locals and very close to Saint Francois.

We stopped at this beach on our way back from Pointes des chateaux. Nice beach with food vendors and a couple of picnic tables, a few benches and garbage cans. We stopped for a bite to eat, 2 picnic tables were taken but there were also some benches that worked out just fine for a picnic lunch of baguettes, camembert,... More

When I lived fulltime in Guadeloupe I never wanted to go to this beach because I found it too busy. Lately I went with my sister in law and it actually is really nice for a short swim. I was really surprised because its really easy to get to being right in town. You have places to eat, restaurants and... More

The beach itself? Nah...there are plenty of better ones not too far away. For a few hours with minimal effort however. Why not....Especially enjoyable was ordering food from the little shack / van. Wonderful burgers, chicken and tuna sandwiches. Plus they even serve alcohol.

This beach area is large and has a parking area for cars. Beautiful water. Lots of shade trees for getting out of the sun when you need a break from the heat. Several food trucks located on site and there is also a restaurant to the east side. Vendors selling swimwear and beach coverups abound with colorful selections. Easy to... More

Really nice beach with shady trees and some big lizards but there was a bit of litter. The beach slopes rather less steeply than most nearby beaches so it is probably better for children.
