You see beautiful scenery, witness locals doing laundry in the river. note the high water marks from the flood season and witness the rafts being pulled manually back up the river to the starting point. Wear sunscreen!!!!

The rio grAnde is a stretch of clean pristine beautiful water. The ride is 3 hrs long with a few stops for cooling off. Ask for a raft with a roof and cupholders.

I enjoyed this trip as you got to see the locals fishing, they use spears to fish it was educational watching these young men.
