    Great Snorkeling!
Our entrance fee was included in our Deja Hotel fee. The cruises offer this beach as tour for snorkeling just 50 feet past the buoy lines in the water. You can snorkel from just the beach fee right from the beach with same reef! Very Crowded some days not enough chairs or umbrellas, people stand around to wait for patrons to leave then the Beach staff runs over and charges daily rental fee $7. chair $7. umbrella, again to next taker. They will bring you drinks and snacks from the bar on the beach (about 6$ per drink) when you put your flag up. that was nice! Because it is a private beach they keep it very clean.

The beach is nice, needs more parking spots
Parking is on the roadside & is usually full. It’s paid parking (thanks to someone outside for pointing that out or else we would’ve been clamped). The Beach experience itself was awesome, good vibes, good music, the beach wasn’t crowded. Clean bathroom and changing room facilities. The staff was pleasant also.

Beautiful beach - but "closes" a bit too early!
The beach is beautiful with great snorkeling just off the coastline. Great food & drinks available - they can either be brought to you on the beach or you can sit at a table in the restaurant itself. The food is better than I expected with a nice selection. Chairs and umbrellas are available for an extra fee. The only bummer is they close the beach at 5pm and take back the chairs & umbrellas - it's a shame b/c the sun doesn't set until 6:30pm this time of year. We just sat on our beach towels instead.

    Great beach, beautiful water!
This was our favorite beach in Montego. Ended up being 30 bucks or so to get a couple of chairs and an umbrella, but it was pristine. Clean, quiet and just beautiful calm water. You can make a whole day out of it and get food/drinks from the restaurant on the beach, they'll even bring food right to you. There's also a starbucks that you have access to, if you need a little caffeine. All in all, great day here and highly recommend a day here if you're im Mobay.

Great beach & water. Bring own food.
This was our excursion off of our Carnival cruise. The beach was great. We had a problem with our food order that took about 40 minutes. When I confronted our waiter he wanted to argue with me and gave me attitude. The water was beautiful here.

    Montego Bay Beach day...success!
Great beach day in MB, Jamaica! I appreciated the safe environment the beach club provides. Ease of entry, purchase of umbrella and chair service all done very quickly. The lifeguard in our area was VERY friendly and helpful. Clean property! We did not eat on the property as we had just finished a great meal at a local restaurant but it appeared that the dining offerings were great options.

Nice Beach - a bit crowded
A beautiful beach, but there was not much beach to lounge on. It was very crowded and several locals were in the water with the tourists trying to sell them seashells. We swam out a bit to avoid the crowds and the water was calm and beautiful. There are some restrooms close by where you can change into swimsuits. They seemed to be clean.

    Would visit again
Beautiful beach, clear warm water and easy access. We paid for our admission, rented chairs and umbrellas and enjoyed sunbathing, swimming and the ocean trampolines. We ordered food from our chairs which was convenient. The taste and cost were average but was ideal to not have to leave our seating. We rented a life jacket for our non-swimmer and some beach peddlers sold coconuts and jewelry but were not pushy. Would definitely recommend this beach.

    Highly recommend
Loved this beach! Gorgeous water and sand that you could enjoy without getting haggled by vendors. The taxi was $7 a person from the ferry. The taxi driver 'Teddy Bear' is shady and tried to make people pay more to go to a different beach with 'cheap drinks'. He then tried double charging per person but we stood out ground and said it was only $7 a person not $14. George, our bartender at the beach, was awesome and very friendly. He recommended some great options for lunch and all the food was very reasonably priced. We had the cab driver 'Sugar Daddy' on the way back - HIGHLY RECOMMEND! He was honest, funny and had the whole van singing and answering trivia questions.

Really nice beach, one minute from our hotel, very clean, attentive wait staff, good food! Gentle enough for small kids, beautiful water. You pay to get in here, but it is worth it to be away from the hawkers!

We paid 36 dollars total for the entry fee, two lounge chairs, and an umbrella. Mark set up our chairs and umbrella for us and found us the perfect spot on the beach. It was 83 degrees that day. The staff are working tirelessly in the heat with a smile on their faces and willing to assist you in whatever way they can. The bathrooms are clean and well-stocked. You can leave and come back in you only need to get a band from the check-in-staff. This beach is extremely clean, security is on-site, and there is a smoking area for ppl who smoke. This is a family-friendly beach. We did not eat there so I can't say how the food is.

Absolute must see. Paid entrance pays off. All facilities necessary are available: clean restrooms, showers, pubs, shaded bars, Starbucks.

Beautiful beach.. $8 each plus extra for sun loungers/ umbrellas etc
Not allowed to take food and drink in according to the sign and no ball games. We had some pop in our bag and did drink that but seen mixed reviews of not a problem taking own and some say been approached by staff. We went in the afternoon and was pretty quiet.
Taxi from Riu MBay hotel was $40 return for me and hubby and the $8 each entrance.
Enjoyed it..

I want to go back, I want to go, I want to go back!! This beach was clean and beautiful and I have nothing but nice things to. We went two days in a row and besides the river falls this beach was the best thing about our trip to Jamaica!!

We had a cruise stop in Montego Bay and wanted to go to the beach. We were told we could get a taxi here but instead were crammed into a van. Once at the beach it took more than 30 minutes to 1) confirm how we'd get back to the ship, 2) buy tickets, and 3) wait in a long, slow line for beach chairs to be set up. The beach itself was decent and the water was nice. However, it seemed there were no lunch options nearby which is really problematic. It was a bit rainy, so perhaps with better weather lunch vendors would have been around. We found a taxi to take us back to the ship.

Family of four (13 & 8) chose to come here during a DCL stop in Falmouth. We looked at lots of options and this was one of the best we found for us. It was a 45 minute drive with a chartered driver each way, but it was worth it to us. As there were nonships in Montego Bay the beach was not crowded, but our server did tell us that the day before it was packed and would have been a different experience for us. The water was beautiful and the beach was clean. Entry, lounger and umbrella are $7 each. Food and drinks were very reasonably priced and delicious. We enjoyed the fish fritters, jerk chicken and fish tacos. There are three floating trampolines to use and the snorkeling at either boat pier was a nice option. We were very happy we made the trip to this beach as we hadn't had the best experiences to Jamaica before this. Would definitely go again if we ever port in Falmouth again.

Nice gated paid beach costing $8 per person and $7 per chair and umbrella. Even with the cost the beach gets pretty busy. There is access to Starbucks from the beach side, but good luck getting service. The beach has drinks and food service on the beach as well as a nice bar and restaurant area if you want to take a break. Leave your towel on the chairs to save your space. You can get a hand stamp if you want to leave and come back. Great relaxing day out. Still keep track of your belongings, just because it's safe does not mean it's pickpocket free

Gorgeous, safe and fun beach. It has a private calm beach that is good for children. Some entertainment such as floats, water trampoline and kayaks for rent. Beach umbrellas and chairs for rent. Has life guards and a nice restaurant. The food here is one of the best we had. The only problem is that it takes more than one hour to get anything. Super slow. Even drinks take more than 40 min. Don’t wait until you are hungry. Order before. People are usually nice and helpful, but be prepared to wait a long time to get your food.

We waited for 5 hours for food- 1 hour of waiting for the staff to come to us. 2 hours of chasing our waitress and 2 hours of customer service issues. It was quite ghetto! After leaving, my taxi driver said that aggressive people are rewarded in this place.

Beautiful beach… well-appointed but was crammed pack and hubby and I didn’t feel safe leaving our belongings unsupervised on the beach. It’s a good place for couples or large families (who cover each other)… not so cool for small families with young children (on a busy day).

Great beach enjoyed everything except the bar area. No smoking signs are posted but you can’t enjoy food or drinks without feeling smoked out. Chain smoking from multiple people was just too much for me. Headache received!!
