Was told this is where to go to buy cheaper t-shirts and gifts... All stores carry most of the same stuff, the people are pushy, and NOT OWNED BY JAMAICANS !!! a bottle of aloe was 11 $ compared to 14 at the resort...not worth...More

Took a tour bus to go shopping here. Yes it had every souvenir we were looking for but....oh my gosh! The strip isn’t very big and the congestion of people and your buses was overwhelming.

All kinds of gifts, good food of different types; Doctor's Cave Beach and Margarittaville are fun places. Be sure to visit Priceless Gift Shop and ask for Keisha aka Chilly Pepper to help you find your perfect gifts!

We toured up and down the strip twice on day trips on our vacation. We found it to be safe and in true fashion it is the barter system of buying things.Vendors rely on you going into their stores to see what they have and if...More

Busy, hagglers trying to get you into their shops for cheap t shirts and crafts. If you want to take something home to friends, go, but don't pay asking price.

I think the hip strip is over rated. There wasn't much to see or do. We lived on the hip strip and hardly did anything there, just went to sleep. The shops are overpriced, they're targeting tourists. They sell shorts, bathing suits, local artifacts, towel,...More

Very busy area. Stay focused, driving in opposite side of the road. Look around. Locals can be a little intimidating, hounding for sales. Lots of shops and unique items. Can definitely bargain prices.
