    Amazing Experience and Beautiful Views
The drive to the garden was an adventure, our driver did an amazing job! From our hotel in Montego Bay it took approximately 40 minutes to get to the garden. The driver did a great job of keeping us informed about the areas we drove through. On arriving at the garden (be sure to wear comfortable shoes/clothes) we were greeted by The Williams. Their story is one of love and dedication, truly remarkable couple. While you listen to the story of how the garden came to be, you can hold a hummingbird feeder and you're sure to get a hungry visitor! Our garden tour was given by the couples' son, it truly is a family united with love for their surroundings. He was very knowledgeable about all the plant life and even picked some of the flowers, herbs and leaves for us to enjoy. There are several bird species, a koi pond, and lizards to enjoy during your walk. The view is spectacular, you really feel you're on top of the world! There are lots of picture opportunities in the garden as well as a few rest stops if needed. At the end of the garden, you'll enjoy the gallery of beautiful and unique art that is available to purchase.
Ohhh thank you so much. It was our pleasure. Our son Ayale is such a ge the man. Gratitude

A once in a life time experience!
This lush slice of heaven is located upon a hill made of quartz! Visiting was a once in a lifetime experience that I’ll eternally treasure. I loved learning about the history, the hundreds of types of plants/flowers and the whimsical hummingbirds. From feeding the hummingbirds, to smelling the flowers, viewing the art and the majestic views, you’ll enjoy the immersive experience from start to finish. It’s a must to add this excursion to your itinerary. You won’t regret it!
It was our pleasure opening on Saturday just for you three. Thank you so much for taking the time to review Ahhh... Blessings and all the best for the Holidays and beyond

    Ahh great experience
We went into the mountains and were met at the driveway by the family member who walked us up a crushed quartz driveway. His father told us the long effort to create this from a cliffside on their own. Over time he terraced and his wife developed a great tropical garden. View from the top is astounding. All family members are artists and they have a small gallery on the first floor. We even fed hummingbirds from a little feeder on our finger.
Thank you for visiting Ahhh and taking the timeto review us here on Trip Advisor. It was our pleasure sharing what we do with you

    Revitalised!
Visited this place yesterday afternoon. I was blown away by it's serenity which is the brainchild of owners and founders Ras Natanga & his wife Tamika. It exemplifies the natural beauty and splendour of Jamaica which I would argue the ingenuity of its founders is as much a product of as their passion to showcase what Jamaica really is at its core. Having fed hummingbirds ( yes, you read that correctly ), toured the gardens with Tamika and chatted with Ras Natanga I came away with a renewed sense that we are all but vessels of nature who would do well to answer when it calls us. If you're ever in Montego Bay, this is a must to see and experience.
Thank you ever so much. What a review. "We are all vessels of nature who would do well to answer when it calls us."

Ahhh...Ras Natango Gallery and Garden Tours was one of the highlights of our recent visit to Jamaica! Our tour guide/driver Raymond, of “Raymond One Love Tours,” took us to this gallery and botanical garden which is located atop the hills overlooking Montego Bay.

We were made to feel so welcome by Ras, Tamika and their son Ayale when we visited this unique home and gardens built on a cliff side. We had an opportunity to feed hummingbirds, which are the national bird of Jamaica, as they perched on our fingers. Our tour guide Marcía was so knowledgeable, identifying various plants as well as the history of unique objects found in the garden. At the end of the tour we were given an opportunity to visit their art gallery. Everything displayed was made by the family or local artisans. There was absolutely no pressure to make a purchase.

It was so nice experiencing the passion and pride this family has for their home, gardens and Jamaica. Make sure and include this garden as part of your trip to Jamaica!

We visited the garden/gallery and were so happy we did! It offers a beautiful and lush respite from the touristy Montego Bay hip strip. Ras greeted us and gave a brief history of the home/garden/museum and interesting experience of building on the steep hillside/cliff while a hummingbird landed in my hand to feed from the feeder. The guide was very informative and pleasant. It rained while we were there which seemed only to enhance the experience...they provided us with umbrellas.

Thank you so much for visiting with your family. I am so happy you choose to visit and experience what makes Jamaica Jamaica. I smile as you mentioned the umbrellas and the rain. The garden way up in the mountain is literally a breath of fresh air. It was our absolute pleasure. Thanks for finding us here on Trip Advisor and for reviewing us. Sincerely all of us at Ahhh..

This place is a hidden gem up the mountains of Montego Bay. We were hartfully welcomed by the family. We were seated at a nice spot with view on the ocean and humming irds flying around. We could even feed them using the burdfeeder on your finger. Ras explained his life story. What he did and how this place originated in a lively style. Unfortunately this day, they were cutting trees in the garden, so it wasn’t as tranquil as it could have been here due to the overwhelming chain saws. Then we got a tour through the garden where the different flowers and other parts got explained accompanied with some messages of life, love and hope. The garden has some nice creative settings. Due to the tree cutting, we could not see all places.
Then we got a bottle of water and got to see the gallery with his paintings and the computer artwork of his son (which I honesty liked more). It started to rain heavily, but we could shelter until the rain slowed down. The price of the visit was 140 usd for our family of four, which I think is a bit overpriced. It doesn’t have lower children or student rates. And especially due to the tree cutting, they could have given us a discount. But as it is a local family run business, I see my money partially as a gift as well.

Thank you for choosing to visit Ahhh. My apologies for the discomfort with the cutting of the trees. Noise pollution is serious The entry is US35 per person ages 12 and up 2 -11 the price is less. Thank you for reviewing us and for the rating you have given We avoid making appointments when work is in progress and therefore when visitors drive/walk up we accommodate as best as possible. Again my sincerest apologies for the noise of the power saws as the huge trees were taken out due to safety concerns. The entire Ahhh family thank you for your support

This was easily the highlight of our trip! We decided to visit after reading some of the great reviews.

We were traveling with our two kids- 8 and 11- so I was a little nervous about how they would tolerate a visit to a garden, but “garden” doesn’t quite describe what this place actually is. They created paradise on a cliff, and we were moved by the level of creativity, thoughtfulness, and hard work that they have clearly put into it.

We were warmly welcomed by Ayale and Tamika, who sat down with us to share the history of how this place came to be and then took us on a tour. She is a natural teacher, very engaging, and she held the kids attention the entire time . She took time to talk about the importance of giving back to the earth instead of taking from it, and she taught the kids how to paint with fresh flowers, then helped them feed a hummingbird named Rocky. Ras took time to walk us through the gallery of beautiful artwork made by himself and the family. It is for sure an experience we won’t forget.

Thank you so much Tamika, Ras, and Ayale for your kindness and for sharing your time and your home with us!

This was a magical experience for me. While listening to Ras tell the story of their humble beginning, hummingbirds sat on my finger and drank from the feeder in my hand. The experience brought me to tears of joy. The views are spectacular, the garden is full of amazing flowers, plants, a waterfall, and art sprinkled throughout. The gallery has gorgeous artwork. I felt like I was visiting with friends, and left with such an intense feeling of joy and peace. When Tamika told me that having a female hummingbird visit, it is a messenger from a lost loved one, which I loved because hummingbirds were my moms favorite bird as well. 100% recommend this place.

I knew I wanted to visit a garden, and somehow I got so much more in my experience at Ahhh Ras Natango Gallery and Garden. This was my first time to Jamaica and I used Curtis of Sunspree Tours to drive me up the mountain to this beautiful cliff side home that features some of the best views above Mo Bay. It was like visiting old friends that I had been missing and walking a garden that felt like I’d been there before. Don’t miss giving Maxwell and Rocky, the resident hummingbirds a drink and I was lucky to have the family there together, sharing a mango and talking about life. I thoroughly enjoyed my tour. Be prepared to purchase the beautiful artwork as well as some of the items in the gift shop. I felt welcomed and at peace there and would’ve spent the night on those hammocks if allowed. It was really beyond my expectations and I plan on returning!

Ahhh Ras Natango Gallery and Garden in the beautiful mountains in Jamaica is the perfect place for a destination wedding. Tamika the wedding planner, listens to every detail and gets it absolutely perfect. Our wedding was what we dreamed of, it exhaled all our expectations, surrounded by nature. It was absolutely beautiful. This family run business is not only for weddings it’s a great place if you love nature from feeding hummingbirds Jamaica National Bird, to seeing beautiful flowers and plants, and some other surprises I want say to much don’t want to spoil it for you. There are some great spots to relax and take in the absolutely Ahhh-mazing view. If that wasn’t enough this team of beautiful people are multi talented and the gallery shows the skill of art and craft they have done by hand. I guarantee this is a place to visit, there is no way you can go to Jamaica and not visit Ahhh Ras Natango Gallery and Garden. I have visited many times and it always amazes me every single time. Remember I told you and definitely do not forget your camera.

Had such an amazing experience visiting Ahhh...

The family made special accommodations for my wife and I who were celebrating our 10 yr anniversary (even made us a card!). Tamika and her family were so welcoming and hearing Ras tell the story of the property was inspiring.

From hand-feeding the hummingbirds (who they've named!) to getting a tour of the beautiful gardens we had a wonderful time and I encourage anybody in the area to take some time to come see this amazing place they've built and learn more about Jamaican culture.

Tamika was also very helpful in coordinating transportation from our resort (Hyatt Zilara) when we called and I felt very safe throughout the process.

Please support this amazing family and the gallery and garden they've developed!!!
