Great day trip

We had a great time climbing the dunns river falls. The human chain was a bit complicated but we had fun with the guides and the other people in the group.

This was my reason to go to Jamaica. Our group of four hired a taxi for a day and combined Blue Hole, Dunns Fall and other sights. This is a cheaper way to do it than trpps from our tur guide. I loved this attraction. We went up on our own as i didnt want to hold hands as you go... More

Visited Dunn River Falls while cruising through the Caribbean. Was a great place to spend part of the day. We decided not to actually climb the falls as I have problems with my legs and my wife had a bad ankle at the time. Many people did climb the falls many with kids. I am not sure if I would... More

Dunn River Falls is a nice adventure. There were a wide variety of age groups enjoying the hike up. You are to hold hands and chain up behind your guide. There were roughly 16 people in our chain. The water is a little cool so little kids were really cold because they have no body fat. There are stairs for... More

If you have limited time in Ochos Rios and you are trying to choose which attraction to do, for me, this is a must! First of the natural water falls are simply beautiful (not breath taking like Niagra Falls, and Victoria Falls). The fun of finding your path to the top of the falls is awesome. We were warned not... Dunns River Fall was incredible. We climbed the falls on a guided tour, our tour guide was amazing (I can't remember his name now). There were 5 of us in our group - the guide carried all of our things, including cameras/phones/go pros. At one point he asked if we wanted to do the easy climb or did we want... More

This is a must see and do in Jamaica; the falls were beautiful and the guides were excellent. Must have good knees :)

If you don't mind being with almost every other tourist on the island this is a very cool place. Climbing the falls is not too hard, there is basically a human chain that goes all the way up the 600 foot climb, The maze of shops on the way out is a pain to go through, but otherwise a very... More

Go early morning (around 0900), before all the tourists from the numerous cruise ships get there. (Unless of course you're staying on a cruise and have no option to arrive early). Opt for a guide; climbing the falls can be dangerous. I asked how many ambulances do they average each day and they told me usually two. It is safe... More

It is very crowded and the venders at the exit are very pushy. The view is wonderful though. I would try Blue Hole first
