This beautiful beach has not been ruined by commercialization - big hotels like Varadero or Playa del Carmen. Plenty of boutique style and smallish hotels - nothing over 3 stories high. . The hawkers on the beach are very respectful once they know you know...More

Can say enough great things about this beach. I go just for that. Sometimes, the hotels block access to walk/job across, which is quite shameful, but otherwise, please go and enjoy.

7 mile beach is an odd assortment of resorts and shacks. Not as developed as I thought it would be from reading about it. Heard that the area had been slower the last few years. The sand is powdery soft and the ocean is blue...More

7-mile has the best mix of Jamaica. You can party all night at a club, chill with some reggae at a club, or just meet some people on the beach and party.

I didn’t see any on the beach but there is a Harley store on the road that runs along the street side of all the hotels. It’s about in the middle of the 7 mile stretch.
