For $20 U.S you get a 45 minute guided tour through two caves that are linked. They stretch 10 miles out to the coast; the tour is only 3/4 of a mile. Interesting stories about their use by pirates and runaway slaves. Their is a large underground pool of fresh water, a bit like the Cenotes in Mexico. You go... More

Six of us (ages 13-56) took a tour of the Green Grotto Caves and everyone enjoyed the tour. Nice to combine it with other attractions (we stopped by on our way back from Dunns River Falls). Takes about an hour. Lots of bats to look at, and one big snake (we were assured it was not poisonous). Nice guide. 65... More

These caves are very different from those in the states. The caves were used for various things, including hiding runaway slaves. The history was interesting. Our guide was good but did not give all the same information that we overheard another guide giving his group. It was worth a stop if you are looking for something to do. There were... More

The Green grotto cave located in the parish of St. Ann is probably the most interesting adventure in Runaway bay with its history dating back to the days of slavery and much much more, the caves is open daily for tours

Very cool attraction. A guide is mandatory and necessary. Our guide was awesome (don't recall his name) but did impressions and was extremely knowledgeable. Caves were great as well as the green grotto.

We had a great experience at the caves with our bump hats. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained throughout. I recommend a visit if you're ever in the area.

Different jamaican sight. You can see nice caves, interesting rocks, bats, lake, under the surface. One thing: many stairs.

Nature lovers will appreciate this 45-minute walk through this series of caves with 1000-year-old natural formations. Caves are caves and rocks are rocks, but what makes a great natural attraction is the overall presentation. The courteous, knowledgeable guides, the backstories, the sights, the sounds, the opportunities to interact. The mix of history, drama, suspense and adventure . . . Well... More

Had a great time at the caves. We stopped here before visiting the Dunst River Falls and had a blast. Very cool seeing the caves and bats. What made the tour great was our guide Chedd. Very entertaining and funny, made everyone laugh the entire time there. Everyone should recommend him as your tour guide you will regret it if... More
