I recommend if you have young children to not go up to the lighthouse. It is a beautiful view but is up on a cliff and there isn't anything to keep someone from falling off. The sights are amazing and it's very peaceful.

The lighthouse does provide an amazing view! Arrive early. This is our second experience with the gates closing 1/2 an hour earlier than posted. There are no restrooms outside the lighthouse. Nevertheless, great view and walk!

Not too close to the lighthouse itself. But look up Rte 102 it's off the coastline in Cabo Rojo there are tons off Beachfront Rest to choose from. It's hard to eat when the scenery is so breathtaking! Have fun!
