Kayak Equipment Rental at The Condado Lagoon

Our experience is really special because of the ecosystem of the lagoon. It is very common to come across manatees that feed on seagrass and that live in harmony with so many other marine species that live there. The lagoon is an important natural reserve that is protected for study and conservation as it is part of the San Juan Bay estuary. It also has a community of natural and artificial reefs that make the experience even richer. The flora, the mangroves, the landscape and how the species live in their natural ecosystem is an experience added to the sport to be performed in the lagoon. These conservation efforts seek to educate and increase knowledge for their conservation and the enjoyment of these beauties. The best thing is that it is centrally located at the entrance to San Juan, the capital of Puerto Rico and the historic center that is the largest tourist attraction on the island.

A great divey bar with lots of character. Staff was amazing and welcoming. I will be going back there next time I am in San Juan.

It's old and rough around the edges....Perfect, it's the oldest bar in town they say. And it's a Bar Lovers Bar - warm- friendly-laid back-easy going like your favorite old sweater. Bartender was laid back with lots of stories about the bar and San Juan. Drinks were great, beer cold, conversation with other patrons was entertaining. What more could you ask for, Old & Rough fits a lot better than modern & chik.

After being there 5 minutes, I felt like I was a long lost friend of Ian the bartender. Everyone in the bar was extremely friendly and the pours were generous.

Stopped by El Batey for a beer after a morning of sightseeing in Old San Juan. Fun place to visit. Jasmine our bartender was a pleasure. Very friendly and informative about the area. Beer was ice cold and affordable compared to other bars in the area. I would recommend a visit to experience this place if exploring Old San Juan. Enjoyed this spot better than the others we visited!
