A centuries old street, where I reaffirmed my love for everything antique and for architecture as well. Beautiful centuries old structures still make beautiful the place, which make the street dependent of their beauty, and they to the street, like there were meant to each other. At the end, the governor's house, the Fortaleza (hence the name), "The Stronghold", which... More

We got to Fortaleza by way of the free trolleys available and then took our time browsing this street of shops. Some were high end fashion shops and some just tourist traps. We came with a mission of looking for nativity sets since San Juan is known for them. We found some beautiful sets in many different shapes and materials.... More

Love this street - probably one of the most busy in Old San Juan. I love the hustle and bustle of it and it comes to life after the sun sets. Lots of trendy bars and restaurants along this street- enjoy!

Shop after shop, restaurant after restaurant! This Street was a great place to simply stroll down and stop in whatever shop caught our eye. Too many different types of shops and restaurants to mention specifics, but a great place to satisfy your shopping itch in a historic setting with an old European feel!

one of the best streets to walk in old San Juan, packed with places to eat, shop, and drink. seems like there are police at every major intersection, and all are eager to give directions, Very friendly people, only drawback is that the side walks are so narrow it's hard for two people to walk side by side.

In the heart of Old San Juan this street has all sorts of shops, motels, restaurants, locals selling food and crafts. They've recently redone the sidewalks making them very user friendly. So nice.

Walking along Fortaleza and Calle de Cristo streets will keep you busy all afternoon. The shops are fabulous. This is a street in old San Juan which has a lot of stores and restaurants. The buildings are cool to look at from the outside because they are old and historic looking.
