I remember going to this island when I was very young (20+ years ago) and it was NOTHING like it is now. We'd go camping there and everything. It's now a super relaxing vacation spot. It's got a restaurant. Music on the weekends. Watersports. Even horses! It's got a little bit for everyone!

We took a 10 day trip around Puerto Rico. We booked only two hotels - the first night and the last night. Other than that, we "winged" it via trip advisor. My husband booked this for nights 8 and 9 - We had originally thought to take the car over to Vieques, but because of the rain went straight to... More

We stayed at the el conquis. hotel and so the trip to and from the island was free and we spent several days there. The island has tons for kids to do (mini golf, volleyball, games, is hiking) and things to rent (floats, snorkels, kayaks, cabanas etc). Food and drinks are pricey and limited. If it weren't for this island,... More

Palomino is a small 109 acre private island, accessible from the port at the El Conquistador resort by free ferry for resort guests. $40 per person by water taxi from Fajardo. It has 200 beach lounge chairs, water sports (sailing, jet skiing, floats, snorkeling), horse back riding and wonderful beaches and water. This is a must visit place for couples... More

We were staying at El Conquistador, so my friend and I came here for the day. It was the perfect day of lazing around on the beach and a delicious lunch. All you need for a quiet little getaway.

It is a beautiful island and we had excellent food at the on-site restaurant. Huge iguanas roam the island. My only disappointment was I couldn't wait to snorkel and it was just a grass reef. Great for lounging in the sun or just hanging out.

We took a day trip to Palomino Island and I want to return, the water was blue, the sand was white and thin, and there weren't barely any people at all, it felt like our own private paradise, highly recommended. You have to get there by ferry which was not great, they could work on updating the system and the... More

Many Beautiful Remembrances with my family. Excellent beaches, scenery, music and good food. The place is exclusively for El Conquistador hotel guests and it is an obligated visit. The drink and food service is excellent and there are many good spots to this place to get a perfect suntan.

Plenty of room and chairs for everyone. The beach was great with great views of Puerto Rico. Hiking paths offered great panoramas and many really interesting looking iguanas.
