Nice beach, lots of restaurants nearby!

This is a beautiful, clean, long stretch of beach. Its location in the upscale condo, tourist and nightlife neighborhood of Condado helps assure that this beach is clean, well maintained and active. Despite the great location, the beach is not over-crowded. It was the best beach experience of our trip to the San Juan area.

It is a beautiful white sand beach. Sand is soft and water is clear. Big downside is Red Flag advisory almost everyday.

Condado beach is nice with lots of restaurants nearby. It tends to get busy on the weekends and parking is difficult to find on the streets. I recommend ocean park beach if you are looking for a less busy beach and wider area to relax/sunbathe. Overall, I recommend this beach because of the amount of restaurants nearby and things to... The beach is beautiful but the water was extremely ruff and not what I would consider great for swimming. On another note, it is close to a lot of cool restaurants and shops so the area as a whole was a good time.

Our hotel had a semi private portion of Condado Beach; area was fun and had several watersports for all.

This beach was directly behind our hotel. Beautiful, blue water with great manageable waves, but because of our hotel (and others) most of the beach was shaded in the afternoon. Great for walking though and a quick dip in the waves.

Condado Beach is well used because it is line with resorts and hotels. A lot of restaurants and bars close by. Some food and drink vendors on the beach. It's very pretty and sand is nice, but the undertow was a risk the five days we stayed near. That's not important for us who rarely go in more than waist... More

The beach is lovely, but the surf is very rough. We would have liked to spend much more time in the water. It is warm and clean but too dangerous for the average swimmer.

While my wife the photographer loved the scenery, even the graffiti covered half finished buildings that appear every so often along the beach, we were there the first week of February 2017 and, for all seven days, the red flags were out indicated the waters were too rough for swimming. Even at knee deep, one could feel a strong tug... More
