We had a BLAST! We loved every part of walking through the rainforest, jumping off cliffs, and sliding down rocks! We had Tony as our guide and he was wonderful! We are still waiting on our pictures 2 weeks later but given the fact that the country just endured a major hurricane we will give them grace 😉

This was the most fun I've had doing something like this. The guides were so chill and made you feel safe, despite the intensity at some points. The views are INCREDIBLE and the vibe was fun throughout. Even had some pastelillos and fruit to end the day :) ALSO.....DO THE JUMP....so worth it.

I planned this as a surprise for my fiancé several months in advance. I started communicating with Jose, the owner, who was super responsive. Most if not all of the info is provided on the website but had several questions and he was happy to respond. We booked a private tour as it was our honeymoon and he was very accommodating. The morning of we met Tony and Fernando, our guides who picked us up in the morning at the meeting spot. 2 very cool, laid back dudes. The ride to basecamp was fun with lots of laughs. They speak Spanish and English fluently so no worries there. At basecamp we had some hefty sandwiches which was definitely going to be needed. Afterwards, we geared up, went over some safety stuff, and headed into the rainforest. Eric and Fernando joined us on the tour while Tony stayed back to keep an eye on weather. The hike was challenging but if you're in decent shape, you should be fine. You will slip, you will bruise, you will be sore but that's part of the adventure. Elbow pads would've been a nice addition. After the hike is where all the jumps and slides happen. And yes, the 40' jump is CRAZY but exhilarating!! Watch out for the one after, not as high but maybe scarier. On top of all the care and safety they provide, they take pictures the whole time so you can remember the awesome adventure you had in El Yunque. A beer on the way back is a perfect way to end the adventure. When back at basecamp, you can shower up, have a delicious meal that hits the spot, and watch the pictures and videos of the tour. You can't go wrong with these guys. This was definitely the highlight of the honeymoon. Thanks to Jose, Tony, Fernando, and Eric.

My husband and I went on this tour today. Jose, which is the owner and one of the guides, was so friendly and helpful. We were picked up from our hotel at 530am, but the trip was worth the early rise. The rainforest was beautiful! We were given a tasty breakfast and they even accommodated our vegetarian lifestyle. You take off with a hike straight from base camp, which is full of mud and challenging trails. You will definitely get muddy! Guides were so helpful along the way always offering you a hand. We had several people in our group who could not swim and the guides were accommodating to this entire group. The natural water slides were fun! The jumps can be intimidating but worth it! I felt safe the entire time. The other two guides were very sweet and helpful. Another plus is that the company takes pictures and videos for you the entire time, for no extra fee. Once you get back to base camp we were given some delicious appetizers and drinks. Love it, highly recommend this company! P.S- you should rent the shoes!
