Had the pleasure of getting to see this magnificent chapel from 1756. The alter is beautiful and the wood carvings and statues amazing. Also do not forget to go to the lower flops to see some of the old tombs beneath the chapel.

Iglesia San Francisco third oldest church in San Juan rebuilt in 1770. Wow rebuilt in 1770-still a functioning church. Simple yet so beautiful. You can walk into the Catacombs beneath the church by going down a short set of stairs.

Very pretty church with lots of things to investigate. The basement of the church is full of tombs and the door is open sometimes so you can view.
