Luquillo Beach is a good place to spend the day. The Beach is flat with calm surf. There are places to eat, drink and go to the bathroom. It is family oriented and lively.

The beach is beautiful and very well shaded. The water at times isn't clear depending on how rough the water is, but still pretty! Wasn't very crowded when we went. It is in walking distance to bars, resturaunts, and gift shops. All are very reasonably priced. The sand is pretty flat. You can also park right on the beach!

This a a beautiful beach with calm waters suitable for all ages. The added bonus is the kiosks selling souvenirs and traditional island food. There is a parking fee but no entry fee.

If your looking to get away from the crowds of San Juan and just relax on a nice and clean beach then Luquillo is the place for you. Me and my family truly enjoyed just sitting and relaxing on this beach listening to the sounds of the wave. We also tried some of the local food from the kiosk near... More

The beach is beautiful but the famous kiosks were beyond expensive and the food was not even that spectacular. Was a disappointment as I've heard this is a 'must do'.

If you're ever around the El Yunque area, you must stop by Luquillo Beach for some rest and relaxation. Parking is $4, restrooms are $1 for adults and $0.50 for children. But the beach is very well kept. Clean waters, clean sand. The sand is so soft and the waters are very calm...amazing beach all in all.

The last few times at Luquillo I noticed prices were going up, which was a bit worrisome. However, there is good food to be found and the beach is super nice.

Drove here from our hotel in condado. $5.50 to get in and park, $3 for two people to have access to a locker, bathrooms, and showers. It was nice to not have to worry about our stuff while we were in the water! You have access to the locker/shower/bathroom for the entire day once you pay. They give you a... More

We visited two beaches in Luquillo in December 2016. This was the best. The beach is wide, with gentle waves and nice sand. We went to another area with orange sand and very narrow beach that wasn't as friendly to families. They rent umbrellas and lounge chairs if you want them, and there are souvenir shops and food places within... More

After going to the rainforest, I wanted to see the beach down below that looked so beautiful from the mountain. When we got there the beach had a red flag, not safe for swimming, so we couldn't really get in the water but it was still nice to look at. I did notice the beaches in PR tend to be... More
