This is certainly a must see roadside stop while traveling through El Yunque National Forest. No hike required; just pull over and park (or wait for a spot to open up). One continuous spiral staircase and you get potentially the best view in the entire park.

This observation tower is a great place to stop if you're visiting El Yunque Rainforest. The views from the base of the tower are beautiful too, so don't feel bad if you decide not to climb to the top. If you do decide to tackle the tower, pace yourself. The winding staircase helps, but it's still a lot of steps.... More

With a quick walk to the top, this roadside stop is well worth the few minutes to climb for a fantastic view of El Toro, the ocean, and El Yunque National Forest.

Nice wide staircase with windows and railings. Easy climb to the top. Doesn't hold a lot of people. Parking lot fills fast. You can be in and out in 10 or take 30minutes. Small shop and decent bathrooms.

This was another highlight from my trip to San Juan. The Tower was 96 steps to the top and worth every climb. The views from below and above literally took my breath away. I couldn't believe how nice it was and so glad I was able to take it all in. A MUST SEE!!

Excellent View. I must add that you must be in shape to go up these stairs. It is well worth it once you reach the top. The tour guide gave great information about the area as well.

If you love nature this is the place to go. The view is spectacular. You can reach this place in a car. The road is in good shape and you can make different stops before to see some waterfalls.
