Nice... preatty too many locals with music very loud. It is near Sun Bay which is better. It has gazebos you can have one if you get early.

One heck of a good beach not the best in Vieques but it is a good swimming beach snorkeling isn't to exciting but I didn't try real hard

This is a beach that the locals go to. the water is pool blue and a warm a s a bathtub. Make sure you bring food and drink because there are no stores around

Most beaches on Vieques are just about empty. This beach didn't have much shade so bring an umbrella. Excellent for families

Do I need a SUV to get to this beach?

You will need a vehicle or transportation to the beach as it is not in "town" but not necessarily a jeep. There are paved roads right up to the beach.
How do you get on this island fron the main island? And travel time?
