Great even with the moon

We were told that we had 40% brightness from the bay because of the moon when we went, but it was still well worth it! Our guide, Steve, was so funny and led a great tour. This was an awesome experience. I would do it again with no moon and I would choose Abe's again. If I'm back in Vieques... More

I grew up going to Puerto Rico to see family, and part of our trips was going to see the bioluminescent bay near Ponce in La Parguera. I thought it was ok, but was amazed at Mosquito Bay in Vieques. The fish swimming in the water were like bottle rockets going off!! The Abe's crew were very professional and patient... More

My Fiance and I loved our tour with Abe's. Loved the kayaking, guides were great, had a great time as first time snorkelers, and the BioBay tour was absolutely amazing!! Not the cheapest or most polished but well worth the price, go with the flow!

We were in the island for a week and with all the beaches at our disposal we wanted to get a snorkel and mask to play with. We were staying in the Esperanza side of the island so we ventured into Abe's and found a very helpful young lady who hooked us up with the equipment we needed, offered us... More

We took Abe's Blue Bay snorkeling tour today; Abe was our guide. I can't say enough good things about Abe and the tour! We drove down to La Chiva (Blue Beach), launched the kayaks and paddled about a mile (I think) to our first stop. The water was a little rough, and I was having trouble getting my wind, so... More

Can't go wrong here. Our guide Steve was great. Super organized and personable. Highly recommended. I liked that they let you explore on your own as well.

I had a great time with Abe and a few other people on the tour. I would say Abe was unusually friendly tour guide. We first stopped at a local market and got a bag full of refreshments and headed to Vieques Wildlife Refugee. We enjoyed our refreshments while kayaking through mangrove. Abe was very informative about the history of... More

Maybe, we have had a bad slot, but when we entered the shop, the lady was not at all interested to offer us a bioluminescence trip (August is low season, but we are paying visitors still). She told us that we have to look up the home page and order there. The shop is nice, but that is all positive... More

Steve is the best tour guide ever. He maintained us entertained by singing songs (most of them ripped off from Disney, LOOOOL) and telling us the history of the luminescent animals that live in the Bay. They pick you up from one of the locations and they drop you off after. Be sure to stay nearby! But it was excellent.... More
