Everyone has a favorite beach on Vieques. With over 100 beaches, it would be nearly impossible to say which beach is "the best!" I am a huge fan of Blue Beach on the south shore of the island. The crystal clear, turquoise waters are breathtaking. The water stays shallow for a long distance, making it easy to walk out far.... More

Blue beach is beautiful, our favorite on Vieques, although there are many from which to choose, Red Beach (Caracas) is also stunning. Part of the fun of these beaches is the drive to get to them. They are easy to find but you will need a 4 wheel drive vehicle. There are many pull in spots to park and also... More

Went here in Feb 2017 and by far the best spot for snorkeling and spotting sea turtles, fish, starfish, etc

One day there were only 2 other people on the entire beach. Next day it was super crowded. So we drove further to playa plata. But over 6 days, trying 4 or 5 beaches, this was our favorite. Water stays shallow, even if you swim out very far. No waves!

Beautiful beach with enough entrances for it to feel like your own. Worth it to spend the day. Snorkeling is as easy as the island in front of the beach.

We spent a full day at La Chiva (blue beach). we found a really cool spot off from pullout #10 that had great views in both directions and palm tree's close to the beach. great snokeling if you go to the left or out to the island. we brought a paddle board so it was easy to get to the... More

Wonderful afternoon of swimming and snorkeling. Sky and water changed colors, just amazing. Mosquitoes were not an issue with the breeze.

Hidden gem located in Vieques The ride to get to all these small beaches was so much fun! White sand, blue waters, gorgeous palm trees, and I went during a not so high season so it was peaceful and not over crowded! Total serenity A must goto beach while in Vieques

This beach is the beach you see on tv, water is so clear & the sand is soft. Snorkeled for an hour & didn't see anything, I think it's just too clear. We went down road number 9. I recommend an umbrella there is no shade in sight & the sun is scortching. So far it's the prettiest beach on... More

This is our second most favorite beach on the south side, easy access, great sand and child friendly water.
