Very short walk from the car park. This was the most picturesque beach we visited. The waves were bigger than the others which we enjoyed, but not too big so as not to lend it's hand to carrying a beverage into the surf. The water dropped off quickly to deeper depths, which may not be good for children. Matter of... More

We've been to Gouverneur's 4-5 times during our two visits to St. Barth and - along with Colombier - rate highest on our all-time best beaches. This beach has adequate parking (paved) and a lovely charm all its own. The entrance is a short tree-lined path that opens into a large cove with rock formations at each end. The water... More

This was another favorite beach in St. Barts. It has the calmest waters and most relaxing vibe. It is easy to find, but slightly out of the way and very secluded. It was pretty sparse when we visited, which was fine with us. I could have stayed in the calm, clear water all day! My favorite part was to sit... More

My favorite beach on the island and on the earth! The water and the sand, the tranquility and peace of this special beach are unique. Can my ashes please be brought here once I am gone?

We had some issues with our gps to get there but once we arrived we enjoyed one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. Blue warm water to relax, trees along the entrance provide great shadows to enjoy a picnic. No services around, you need to bring water and some food to enjoy this paradise.

very nice and calm bay close to saline so if you want to hit two beaches at once Gouverneur and Salin would go very well together! Enjoy!!

We had a great afternoon enjoying the calm, easy surf, and clear waters at Gouverneur beach in St Bart's. This was a nice change of pace from Nikki Beach, which is a lot busier. Here, you can stake out an area and not be bothered by anything. We threw around a frisbee, walked the beach, had a few drinks, and... More

This was the prettiest beach on St Barts. You need transportation and there are no facilities and no restaurant. The sand is very white and the water crystal clear and a lovely shade of blue. Very peaceful and romantic.
