The road is under repair leading from the north but you should be able to get there by coming from the south west. Spectacular rugged walk, the most raw place on the island. Lots of goats! Great for dog walking. Wear running/hiking shoes and sun protection (no shade).

The road was closed and we couldn't get there. Not sure if this was temporary, but it looked like it had been that way for some time.

Please wear sensible shoes (e.g. no flipflops or heels) and prepare to sweat for 20-25 minutes but then you will have seen some amazing coast and hopefully have safely climbed down to the natural pools which are beautiful and magical. Please beware of the sea urchins in the pools, keep your shoes on or bring water shoes because there are... More

This is a rough beach for surfers. It has rocks and cliffs and really high wawes. It is really beautiful but I wouldnt swim here.

On this coast the currents are very strong, so you must be very careful, and you are discouraged to go for swimming, but here you can see surfers.

The trailhead to enter is kind of dirty with lots of garbage, another rocky beach. If that's what you're looking for head down a little further to Grand Fond.

We parked on the Grand Fond opposite the Toiny beach and hiked up and over the brown, dirt trail to the big rock with the pools. Challenging climb in spots....use caution if wet...but well worth it. Pools were warm and scenic. Urchins are under the rocks so be careful.

We were out touring the island, and we able to walk to the beach through a rocky path. We met a couple of surfers, so felt that it was not a place to swim, due to the active waves.

A bit difficult to find the path. However, there is a great hike to the Natural Pools. Take footwear to protect against a few sea urchins, or look before you bump into a boulder. It is well worth the 30 minute or so effort.
