If you go on a tour of the island then you'll see plenty of it. It adds to the character of the island but when you've seen it once you don't need to see it too ofetn thereafter,

On our taxi tour we drove through the dry forest on one side of the mountain and then entered the very different rain forest, where of course it rained on a sunny day! Interesting to see the lush green vegetation.

You truly DO need a head for heights if using the gondola trip. Nevertheless I did it and whilst its an amazing experience - you really only see trees (very little flowers or fauna). go round the humming bird garden at ground level and also you get visited by the equivalent of British "sparras" in the little cafe as you... This is an excellent place to visit and a great way to see a tropical rainforest from the air: just over one hour for the trip. A quiet journey which takes in the enormity of the forest to see the giant trees and ferns. The return journey provides opportunity to see spectacular views towards the sea, say 30 minutes. The... Now a Botanical Garden Sounds boring right? This was beautiful and not boring. I had only heard of the rainforest or seen it on TV. This garden has both hard and soft paths. I never really related to those don't kill the rain forest. This garden is magical. You are under a canopy of trees that catch the sunlight. As... More

Rain forest sky rides is just great. The kit is all top quality and the focus is on safety and having fun. We have done it a few times nod it always excites, there is something great about gliding through the tree tops in a tropical rainforest that nothing else matches.

St. Lucia is a jungle paradise. The rainforest covers most of the island and wherever you drive you will be in awe of nature. The twisty, curvy roads from Marigot Bay to Soufriere induce car sickness, but the vistas are spectacular. Vines climbing on trees, waterfalls cascading from the sides of hills, ginger, peace lilies, and all other tropical plants... More
