This was a great catamaran boat ride. The captain and crew were amazing. The food on the boat was great as well. It went from 1 pm -7 pm. It was a beautiful sunset that I will never forget. The views and stops on the boat were also very nice. The music could have been better. They should only play Caribbean music. I didn't like the snorkeling area. You had to get off the boat, walk-thru rocks, and then there was a small area under the mountain that you could snorkel. You could not walk on the beach and enjoy the island. And the area blocked off was very unattractive.

We started the day by boarding a bus which took us through town of Castries We drove past banana farms, Marigot Bay and stopped at a traditional fishing village. We drove through the rainforest on the coastal road past the Pitons. The roads were narrow and there were lots of switch back curves. I would not have wanted to be driving. We had a walking guided tour through Diamond Botanical garden which was the high point of the day for me. Our bus tour guide was very informative and made the trip very enjoyable. There were stops along the way. The things for sale at each stop were pretty much the same as the last stop. My friend bought a cocoa stick which is made on the island and talked about on the tour. We stopped at the sulfur springs. Our guide there loves his job. If it didn't stink and if I wasn't a bit hot and hungry I think I would have enjoyed the information he provided much more, but mostly I wanted to move on to lunch. I should have bought something to drink at one of the stops. The steps up and down at the sulfur springs are a bit intimidating but you can see everything there is to see without going up and down the steps. You would however miss out on the guides' informative talk. We had lunch at a local bed and breakfast. The meal was nice local food. Overall it was a good tour. It was however a really long day and took all of our time on the island.

We chose this tour as our original one was cancelled. It turned out to be a really fun day. We were picked up from the pier in open topped 4x4 trucks, that could fit about 10 - 12 people in. There was a guide in the back with us that told us about the island as we went along. We drove up through the mountains and then down to the beach. There was only our tour on the beach so it was nice and quiet. It was on the atlantic side so the water was very wavy but still nice and warm. Definitely make sure you wear a lot of sun screen on this tour as there is no cover in the truck.
